Hey Tom F- First: Have almost the exact same error message as yours. I’ve been having all kinds of problems– and it started before i even tried dl new logic version. Literally line for line, with a few numbers different here and there- to do with our different systems, i think.
I’m guessing that its a /47068.txt problem, somehow- and not logic. Have you had any success??

I’m having the exact same issue. Upgraded to High Sierra yesterday, and now Logic crashes on launch every time, logic pro x high sierra crash free with same error message as OP. Don’t sierrz the relevance of this, but while fooling around, I’ve noticed that while pressing the ALT key in Launchpad, only the apps that crash on launch get the little “x” in the top left corner of the app icon. The other apps that work as normalget the “jiggles”, but no “x”.
Potential Fix worked for me. I ran into this exact issue today MacOS I’m not well-versed in Terminal or coding at all.
So, if you’re like me, it took me some trial and error to finally discover what the steps looked like with my own machine. Launch Terminal. When the cursor changes to its normal solid gray, sierrra code freee been applied and there may be /11246.txt “signed” notification of some kind – can’t recall. This seems to have worked for Logic. Thank you very much for the assistance, Tips. Annoyingly, when I try to do this on the other apps that crash on launch, I get a “permission denied” message in Terminal, so the forced signing clearly doesn’t take place, and the rest of my apps still don’t work.
There are still some apps that just disappear into the ether when I try to launch them, no error pgo or anything, but most of the apps seem to be working now. Thank you!! I tried several things the last dass: clean install of high sierra same OSX install files /25622.txt have on my studio computer and a copy of the Logic file from studio computer too.
